7 day In-depth Cultural Tour of Western Georgia
We are an English tour company that has put together the most comprehensive and unique travel experience you can imagine. The tour has been designed with optimal comfort in mind, catering to your every need from the moment you land until we bid you farewell.
If you overstay your Georgia visa, you may be subject to penalties and possible legal consequences. The length that you overstay will determine the severity of the penalties. You will be fined according to how long you overstay, and you face possible deportation. You could also be barred from entering the country again.
It is advised that you get in touch with the Georgian government’s visa department if you see you are going to overstay your visa. They could help you to possibly avoid drastic measures at the border.
To renew or extend a Georgia e-visa, you will need to submit a new application for an e-visa through the Georgian government's e-Visa portal. Unfortunately, it is not possible to extend or renew an existing e-visa once it has expired.
Once you have submitted your application, it will be reviewed by the Georgian authorities. If your application is approved, you will receive a new e-visa via email. You can then use this new e-visa to enter Georgia.
It is important to note that the Georgian government recommends that travellers apply for their e-visas at least five business days before their intended travel date. This will ensure that there is enough time for the application to be processed and for the traveller to receive their e-visa before they depart.
An e-visa to Georgia costs 20 USD + a 2% service fee for a total of 22 USD. You will have 5 hours after confirming your email address to complete the payment online.
For a short-stay tourism visa, you do not need to visit an embassy or visa centre. You can apply online on the e-visa portal.
It is important to note that only certain nationalities are eligible for e-visas to Georgia. You can check whether your country is eligible by visiting the e-Visa portal and selecting your country of citizenship from the dropdown menu.
The Georgian e-visa application process is simple, and you only need to fill in the basic application form on the e-visa portal. The application requires a valid email address, and you will need to confirm your email address within 1 hour of your application being made.
You will also need to upload a digital copy of your passport and a recent photograph. Once you have completed your application and paid the application fee, your application will be reviewed by the Georgian authorities.

Georgia's visa policy is significantly more lenient than many other destinations globally. It enables citizens of 98 countries to enter the country without needing to apply for a visa or residency permit. Furthermore, the Georgian Government has established a list of 50 countries whose visa or residency permit holders can visit Georgia without a visa for a specified period and under specific conditions.
Starting from June 15, 2022, travellers from any foreign country entering Georgia through any means of transportation, including air, land, and sea, are not required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test result.
Georgia has abolished all COVID vaccination requirements since June 2022. Travellers are advised to refer to the official government website before travelling to check if there have been any recent developments.
This is a group tour and consists of 30 participants.
This is the beauty of our style of travel. Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo and want to meet and share experiences with like-minded people.
The tour price includes all accommodation based on the type of accommodation selected during the booking, on ground transportation, meals through the whole tour, dedicated tour leader and photographer on each location, all the activities, events and programs as outlined in the tour itinerary.
Please note that the price does not include flight from your origin to Georgia.
Creatour offers single, double or triple occupancy rooms in all of our destination hotels. Please note that we don’t assign you a roommate, therefore, you are advised to book a tour with a single occupancy, in case you are traveling solo.
The tour starting location is Tskaltubo, Georgia. The closest airport near Tskaltubo is David The Builder Kutaisi International Airport (KUT) which is a 23 minute ride. In case your flight does not operate to Kutaisi Airport, we recommend booking the flight to Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) (3.5 hours away) or Batumi (BUS) Airport.
Yes, of course! Please send your flight itinerary to customerhelp@creatour.com and our coordinator will be happy to arrange an airport pickup from Kutaisi airport at no extra charge. We can also help to arrange pick up from Tbilisi, or Batumi airport at additional cost.
We will try our very hardest to accommodate all dietary requirements but in some out-of-the-way places it can be very difficult to guarantee. We will let you know if there are places on your itinerary where this is the case. Please let us know at the time of booking of any food requirements or allergies and we’ll pass the information onto your leaders. In the detailed itinerary we will provide information about food menus that are offered and included in the tour program.
Food is one of the most exciting parts of the tour. There may be some familiar fare but often you’ll be confronted with the new, interesting and downright weird of the Georgian culinary but we like to think of it as an adventure for all the senses.
Not so many countries in the world can provide suitable tap water to drink, but in a short list of those Georgia is also presented. Tap water consumption is totally safe in Georgia. You will not need to spend money or energy for obtaining fresh (soft) water.
Georgia has it's own currency called "Lari" (the same to "GEL”). 1 Georgian lari is equal to 0.34 United States Dollar. You can use this website to see the current exchange rates: https://www.convertmymoney.com. You can easily use Mastercard, Eurocard, VISA, Cirrus and Maestro Credit Cards in Georgia.
We never want to cancel a trip, but sometimes things happen. Find our more information about cancellations, credits and refunds on our terms and conditions page.
Creatour can’t assist in the actual application of visas, but we can provide the necessary information and redirect you to the relevant embassy. Please contact customerhelp@creatour.com if you need a visa.
Travel insurance is compulsory on the tour.
We require that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend all travelers have a policy that also covers COVID-19, personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage or personal effects.
